Sports
We target assets globally that offer unique potential for growth within the sports, media and entertainment (“SME”) ecosystem. Bright Path pursues investments in bespoke, out of auction SME assets, growth equity, and/or credit financing where there is a significant opportunity to drive revenue and profitability. Bright Path also has an interest in ancillary technology, health and wellness, and esports opportunities. While Bright Path primarily makes majority or minority investments with a pathway(s) to control in sports teams and leagues – we have and will continue to pursue other opportunities that combine strong partners and exceptional management.
Media & Entertainment
We are interested in opportunities in the entertainment industry that capitalize on synergies with sports and leisure activities. Akin to our strategic investment in Cosm, this includes investing in live entertainment venues, media production companies, and technology platforms that enhance fan engagement or sports broadcasting. We will also consider acquisitions or growth capital for experiential entertainment businesses, such as e-sports arenas, sports-related content studios, or event management firms, to tap into the high-demand live entertainment market. Additionally, we will explore partnerships with sports-focused streaming platforms or digital media companies, as these sectors continue to attract audiences and offer scalable growth. Bright Path looks for opportunities where operational improvements, brand expansion, or strategic alignments could unlock value.
Real Estate
We focus on transactions within the real estate industry that align with our specialization in sports. This includes investments in properties like sports complexes, stadiums, training facilities, hospitality and entertainment venues, and multi-use sports centric developments. Our transactions will prioritize assets with potential for revenue generation through events, sponsorship, and community engagement. We might also seek properties aiming to capitalize on both growing interest in sports-oriented real estate and population shifts.
Gaming
We are interested transactions in the casino and gaming industry that leverage our deep Native American experience in the space. We target investments in casinos with integrated resort facilities or entertainment venues, seeing potential for synergy with live sports and digital betting. We also will consider distressed or underperforming casino assets, aiming to revitalize them through improved management and customer engagement, as well as strategic partnerships. In line with the growth of online gaming, Bright Path pursues stakes in digital gaming platforms, sports betting companies, or hybrid offerings that combine in-person and virtual gaming experiences.
